The first annual fundraiser Douglas Foster Foundation Golf Tournament took place October 2016.  The goal of the Foundation is to host an annual tournament that brings our community together in celebration of Doug Foster while fulfilling the mission of The Foundation. 

The Douglas Foster Foundation, is a non-profit charity that serves local lacrosse participants in the state of Oregon through scholarships. While Oregon leads the nation in growth of Lacrosse programs, the increasing cost burden being carried by participants threatens to limit access of the sport to the confines of the upper middle to wealthy socio-economic classes.  Through increasing access to lacrosse, we believe we are encouraging the ability for participants to grow into well-rounded, confident, hardworking community leaders like Doug Foster. It is our goal to expand access to all by providing a minimum of $20,000 in scholarships each year. The DF Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization is supported by tax deductible contributions made by individuals, companies, associations and organizations.

The proceeds from the Golf Tournament and Silent Auction are used to offer scholarships to deserving student athletes, coaches, and officials in their pursuit of their lacrosse goals.

Whether it is sunny and bright or rains and pours, we would love for you to join us as we tee up and say "Fore you Doug Foster!"
